The SHIMANO DEORE M5100 shifter uses SHIMANO's SHADOW RD+ design and delivers consistent performance when shifting MTBs in challenging terrain. The low-profile design prevents damage from rocks, while SHIMANO's chain stabilization technology reduces chain drop and ensures quiet operation in all gear positions.

Powering the e-bike is Shimano's top-of-the-line EP8 centre drive - 21% more power compared to the most powerful Shimano E8000 motor yet. 10% less weight with a total of 2.6 kg thanks to the use of magnesium for the motor block. Redesigned bearings and gear connections inside the motor, resulting in 36% less friction and drag when pedalling with the drive off or above the motor assist speed limit. Delivering a pleasant but powerful driving experience, it is capable of reliably handling all your daily activities and offering a very pleasant and smooth ride.
Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the e-bike can be connected to the E-TUBE PROJECT app (downloadable for Android, iOS) which allows individual motor settings. Power is provided by the reliable 504 Wh Darfon battery, which is enough for really long trips. Just to the left hand you will find the SHIMANO SC-E5003 control unit, the Clamp band provides a clear display illustrating the various functions of the system. The unit also doubles as a boost switch, allowing the rider to increase or decrease the level of boost with large, easily accessible buttons. Comfort is taken care of by the suspension fork and safe stopping is the job of the powerful hydraulic brakes. In terms of additional comfort, you'll appreciate the Block Lock head compound, which protects against damage to the frame from the handlebars in a fall. Fenders, racks and other bikepacking equipment can be mounted.

The original LCD display Shimano STePS SC-E5003, is one of the lightest and quietest systems for e-bikes. Shimano's clear, easy-to-read display that includes speed, distance, ride time, hours, gears, estimated range, battery indication, etc... The unit also doubles as a support switch, allowing the rider to increase or decrease the level of support via large, easy to access buttons.
