The reliable Talon E+ 2 29 2023 mountain e-bike uses Yamaha's SyncDrive Core motor and is powered by a 500Wh EnergyPak lithium battery. The Talon E+ 2 29 is built on a lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame with a comfortable geometry and features Yamaha's new SyncDrive Core motor. It is a very light and compact motor with 50 Nm of torque. Thanks to this motor, the eco has less battery power consumption and thus a longer range. There is a SmartAssist riding mode, which is a fully automatic adjustment of the amount of engine support. A seamless connection between the motor and your own power is ensured by a set of six PedalPlus sensors, which measure your pedalling force with high precision and evaluate how much power to deliver to the motor to make battery power consumption as efficient as possible. Enough power even on longer trips is supplied by the 500 Wh EnergyPak lithium battery, which is neatly positioned on the frame downtube and removes to the side.
The RideControl Dash control unit allows you to manipulate the bike while walking with walk assist. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, you can then pair your bike with the RideControl app that you download to your smartphone (downloadable for Android, iOS). This app will then offer you many other useful features, such as adjusting the amount of support in all riding modes or various fitness functions. In terms of riding comfort, you'll appreciate the suspension fork with 100 mm of travel and you can rely on the hydraulic disc brakes for braking. The bike frame is ready for retrofitting a kickstand using the integrated mounting bracket.

SyncDrive Core motor is ideal for electric bikes with low frames and offers feeling of safety. SyncDrive Core remains quiet under load while outputing enough energy for enjoyable and relaxed adventure. Smart Assist technology with GiantPedalPlus uses sensors to work out the output needed. This results in quiet and natural feeling with powerful and adjustable support of up to 300% with high torque of 50 Nm. 100% of torque is available right from the start.
GIANT EnergyPak 500 Wh
Lithium baattery for Giant and Liv e-bikes in integrated in a frame for smooth lines and sleek look. It can be charged while mounted but it can also be detached. Enhanced BMS (Battery Management System) circuit establishes two way communication between the battery and a charger to ensure optimal charging. It only takes 2 hours and 20 mminutes to get 80 % charge.
RideControl Dash
This two-in-one unit features buttons to control support modes plus an integrated color display. You can check range, battery level and support mode, along with standard cycling data such as speed and distance without having to another screen to the E-bike. It also has an ANT+ connection so you can connect a heart rate monitor and other fitness devices.
