Introduction of the GXM Series
Panasonic has introduced a new generation of e-bike motors called GXM (Great eXperience in eMotion), representing a completely new system with a focus on performance, intelligent control, and open architecture.
The system includes a new, smart infrastructure featuring:
- - Intuitive automatic mode with adaptive power adjustment.
- - Full connectivity including OTA updates via mobile applications.
- - An open CAN-bus system enabling the use of third-party batteries, giving manufacturers greater flexibility in frame design.

Flagship model with the designation “Mg” – referring to a magnesium housing.

The Smart GXM Ecosystem

In addition to the motors themselves, Panasonic presents a complete intelligent system:
- - New display and control unit (GXM Display 501 + GXM Remote 501).
- - Automatic mode (AI support) for adaptive performance.
- - Open battery architecture, compatible with CAN-bus protocol for various battery manufacturers and easier frame integration.
