KELLYS Theos RS30: High-performance, long-range trail e-bike

The KELLYS Theos RS30 is an all-suspension mountain e-bike designed for demanding riders who want to tackle technical trails and longer mountain trips. This model combines modern geometry, a powerful motor and a large battery to offer stability, performance and comfort on any terrain.

Construction and frame

The Theos RS30 uses a frame made of durable 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, robotically welded in Europe and built with the Think Link® concept. Rear travel reaches 140mm, providing ample comfort and control on challenging terrain. An interesting feature is the combination of 29″ front and 27.5″ rear ("mullet") wheels, which provides stability on fast descents and agility in corners.

Engine and battery

At the heart of the bike is the PANASONIC GXM MAXXPRO mid-motor with 105 Nm of torque, which delivers smooth and powerful assistance even on steep exits. The 820 Wh battery allows for long day trips without having to worry about running out of power. The positioning of the battery in the frame also lowers the bike's centre of gravity and improves handling.

Motor Panasonic GXM MAXXPRO

MAXXPRO – a revolutionary new e-bike drive system. Designed to deliver full power without unnecessary weight. The GXM MAXXPRO motor, developed jointly by Kellys and Panasonic, has a torque of 105 Nm and weighs just 2.56 kg, with a special magnesium alloy casing. Optimized cooling and mounting. The combined motor and battery system weighs approximately 6.1 kg. Modular and modern electronics: Open architecture, over-the-air (OTA) update capability, and compatibility with various batteries via CAN bus (open system).

Battery Kellys Maxxpro 820 Wh

Kellys, in cooperation with German battery manufacturer BMZ, presents a new series of batteries called Maxxpro, which excel in high energy density. Energy density is the amount of energy stored in a given amount of material, measured in Wh/kg. Carbon batteries are up to 20% lighter and offer higher capacity. The batteries weigh approximately 3.5 kg. To achieve low weight and high energy density, Kellys used an all-carbon battery body.
