Four-Bar Suspension
Utilizes four pivot points (pivots) and oversteer to optimize shock travel and overall bike handling characteristics. This arrangement allows the rear wheel axis to be independent of crank and braking movements, providing better traction and efficiency.

The SANTA CRUZ Vala 1 AL MX 26 Deore CH is an all-suspension e-bike built on an aluminium frame with a durable four-pin system and 150 mm of travel. It's a versatile machine that combines playfulness and stability for riders looking for confidence on technical trails and comfort on day trips.
At the heart of the bike is a 5th generation Bosch Performance CX drivetrain with 85Nm of torque (up to 100Nm via app), powered by a fully integrated 600Wh Bosch PowerTube battery. Together, they deliver smooth and powerful performance for long climbs and quick shifts between trails.
The frame geometry is designed for MX wheel configuration (29" front, 27.5" rear). This "mullet" setup delivers confidence and trail handling over challenging terrain, while the smaller rear wheel provides better handling and more fun cornering performance.
Suspension is handled by a RockShox Psylo Gold RC fork with 160mm of travel and a RockShox Deluxe Select shock (205x60), which together deliver responsive response and stability even in more challenging passages.
Shimano Deore M6100 12s components provide reliable and precise performance, while Shimano Deore M6120 brakes with large discs (220/203 mm) ensure safe stopping even on long descents.
The WTB ST Tough wheels, fitted with Maxxis Assegai (29") and Minion DHR II (27.5") tyres, are ready for the rough stuff and deliver confidence on any terrain.

Bosch Performance Line CX 5th generation engine
The 5th generation motor offers 85 Nm and a peak power of 600 W. Thanks to the magnesium housing, it is lighter (2.8 kg) and quieter. The new mounting system makes installation easier. Improved sensors measure rider inputs more accurately, ensuring a more natural power transfer. The motor has hill-start and walk assist for added comfort. Lower weight improves maneuverability and component durability. Auto mode automatically adjusts terrain assistance. Compatibility with Bosch smart systems allows tracking of ride details, making planning and the ride itself easier.
Bosch Top-tube System Controller w/ mini remote
Control unit for e-bikes with intelligent system. The range of functions and information is limited - so you have a quick overview that won't distract you while you ride. Integrated into the top tube - it's hardly noticeable and ideal for sporty trips and design-oriented e-bike fans.
LEDs indicate the riding mode and battery charge level in different colours. Made of durable material and protected from bumps and scratches. With just two buttons you can control the most important functions of your e-bike - switch on, switch off and change the riding mode. With the Mini Remote you can operate the control unit even more safely and conveniently. With the Mini Remote on, you can also control the display or use your smartphone as a display.
Bosch PowerTube 600
Bosch PowerTube 600 and 800 offer higher capacity and lower weight. The PowerTube 800 weighs 3.9 kg, 400 g less than previous 750 Wh models, while providing a longer range. The new batteries are more compact, improving the handling of the electric bikes. In addition, they are made with the environment in mind, using recycled materials and renewable energy.
Both batteries - the 600 Wh and 800 Wh - have the same length of 435 mm, which is almost 5 cm less than the 750 Wh version (484 mm). This shorter design is made possible by the use of advanced 21700 cells and a modified cross-section. The advantage of the same length is compatibility with a single bracket, meaning that if the frame has sufficient space for an 800 Wh battery, a 600 Wh model can also be used. This gives greater flexibility in choosing battery capacity.
