GIANT E+ System
The GIANT E+ System is an advanced electric drive developed by Giant in collaboration with Yamaha. The SyncDrive Sport 2 motor with 75 Nm of torque, six sensors and Smart Assist, RideDash Evo 2.0 controls, ergonomic controls and mobile app with E-Lock function, and the EnergyPak Smart 625 Wh (or 800 Wh) battery offer a range of up to 130 km. An optional range extender can extend it even further.
The GIANT E-Lock System is a modern electronic security system designed for GIANT electric bicycles that significantly increases protection against theft. The system is fully integrated into the electronics of the e-bike and connected to the RideControl / Giant E-Bike App. When E-Lock is activated, the drive system is electronically locked so that the e-bike cannot be used or ridden without the owner's authorisation. Unlocking is done simply via an app on a smartphone or via a paired display.

The basis of the entire bike is a modern Gen 4 ALUXX aluminium frame with integrated battery. The construction is designed to provide high stiffness while maintaining comfort on longer routes. Overdrive head tube (1.8"-1.5") contributes to precise steering and improved stability. The integrated kickstand mount (KSA40) and rack or fender mount preparation are also practical details, making the bike a versatile solution not only for sport, but also for everyday use and light loads.
At the heart of the e-bike is the Giant SyncDrive Sport 2 motor, developed in collaboration with Yamaha. It offers 75Nm of torque, which means plenty of power for steeper climbs or riding with a load. Thanks to PedalPlus technology with six sensors and Smart Assist, pedalling support is exceptionally smooth and natural. The system can automatically adjust power to suit riding style and terrain, with maximum support of up to 400%.
Power is supplied by a 625 Wh Giant EnergyPak Smart battery that is integrated directly into the frame. The aluminium housing meets high safety standards (EN50604) and the battery offers a long life of up to 2300 charge cycles. For more demanding users, compatibility with the additional range extender EnergyPak Plus is also available, which significantly extends the overall range.
The range itself depends on many factors such as the route profile, rider weight or the selected assistance mode. In extreme conditions, around 50 km can be expected, in normal use around 100 km, and in ideal conditions up to 130 km or more. With the use of an additional battery, these values increase even more significantly.
The control of the e-bike is intuitive and modern. The dominant feature is the RideDash Evo 2.0 colour display, which is elegantly integrated into the handlebar and provides clear riding information. RideControl allows easy mode switching directly from the handlebars. There's also support for the RideControl App (ANT+), E-Lock and other smart features that enhance both safety and comfort.

Baterry GIANT EnergyPak Smart 625 Wh
Battery designed for Giant and Liv electric bikes, which have the battery integrated in the lower frame tube. It has an extra capacity of 625 Wh for a really high range.
Advanced BMS (Battery Management System) circuitry optimizes charging performance through continuous communication between the battery and charger.

Lifetime warranty on Giant & Liv frames
Giant & Liv provides the first owner with a lifetime warranty on the frame (3 years for downhill models) and 10 years on rigid forks. The warranty on components and electronics is 2 years. The warranty is valid provided that the e-bike has been professionally assembled by an authorized dealer and proof of purchase is provided.
If you register your bike within 90 days of purchase (Giant / Liv), the warranty on wear parts is extended from 1 to 2 years.
The 5-Year E-Bike Support program is available for selected e-bikes, which requires registration within 30 days of purchase (Giant / Liv). This provides 5 years of motor support and entitles you to significant discounts on post-warranty replacements. For selected models from 2026 onwards, the battery warranty is also extended to 5 years.
