Enviolo Pure is an advanced control system for smooth gear changes on bikes equipped with the Enviolo planetary continuously variable gearbox. It allows smooth and seamless transitions between gear ratios, so you always find the ideal cadence for pedalling without "jumps" between gears. The Pure model is designed to be reliable in all weather conditions and compatible with all manual Enviolo hubs.
The GIANT E-Lock System is a modern electronic security system designed for GIANT electric bicycles that significantly increases protection against theft. The system is fully integrated into the electronics of the e-bike and connected to the RideControl / Giant E-Bike App. When E-Lock is activated, the drive system is electronically locked so that the e-bike cannot be used or ridden without the owner's authorisation. Unlocking is done simply via an app on a smartphone or via a paired display.

Performance and assistance
The Explore E+ 2 DD uses Giant's SyncDrive Sport 2 motor, which provides up to 75Nm of torque and smooth pedalling assistance. This motor works with multi-sensor technology for a natural riding feel and optimized power consumption.
Battery and range
The e-bike is equipped with an integrated Giant EnergyPak Smart battery with a 625 Wh capacity, which can be supplemented with an optional EnergyPak Plus add-on battery for even longer trips. The result is a very solid range that serves well for both daily commuting and weekend bike tours.
Design and handling
The ALUXX lightweight aluminium frame provides a strong and durable base. The SR Suntour XCM34 front suspension fork with 100mm of travel adds comfort even on rougher roads or gravel sections.
Components and equipment
The Giant Explore E+ 2 DD is equipped with Enviolo Pure shifting, hydraulic disc brakes and wider Crosscut Gravel 2 700×57c tires that offer sure-footed traction on a variety of surfaces. The RideControl Dash display clearly shows everything important such as speed, battery level or assistance mode.

Baterry GIANT EnergyPak Smart 625 Wh
Battery designed for Giant and Liv electric bikes, which have the battery integrated in the lower frame tube. It has an extra capacity of 625 Wh for a really high range.
Advanced BMS (Battery Management System) circuitry optimizes charging performance through continuous communication between the battery and charger.
Charging time to 80% capacity: 2 hours and 20 minutes.
