In Europe, its electric motors have become the de-facto standard and in the last five years it has focused heavily on the production of central motors . In 2014, Bafang introduced an integrated central drive with the codename MAX, which later evolved into the name MaxDrive. MaxDrive has found its use in many types of 250W/36V e-bikes. Bafang also manufactures the hub (front and rear) motors that have become a long-term leader in the world market.
