With a brutal 180/170mm race stroke and XTR Di2 electronic shifting, you'll take on the steepest sections with surgical precision, while climbing so fast you can do in an afternoon what used to take all weekend.
Racing kinematics Split Pivot and big strokes
This model combines uncompromising travel (180/170 mm) with FOX Factory suspension and the patented Split Pivot system. This perfectly separates the braking forces from the suspension work, so the rear wheel doesn't lose traction even when braking aggressively on broken terrain. The result is surgically precise tracking, maximum responsiveness and high pedaling efficiency without unwanted wobble.
Lightning charging
The system supports GaN 3x fast charging (12A/508W), which will charge the battery from 0% to 75% in just approximately 96 minutes. The Intelligent Battery Health function actively monitors and manages the battery's health to extend its life: it guarantees 80% of its original capacity is maintained after 500 full cycles.
Ballistic Carbon construction with full ICR integration
Premium high-modulus carbon fiber frame uses Ballistic Carbon Layup technology for extreme rock impact resistance. Thanks to the advanced HCIM internal molding method, the construction is structurally perfectly strong and incredibly lightweight. A luxurious, clean look and maximum component protection is provided by the completely invisible ICR internal wiring routed directly through the headstock.
Surgically precise Shimano XTR Di2 electronic shifting
The 9.8 is equipped with the absolute ultimate in 12-speed Shimano XTR Di2 electronic shifting. At the heart of the e-bike is the revolutionary Avinox drive system
The Avinox M2S mid-motor delivers a massive 150Nm of torque and up to 1,300W of peak power in Turbo mode. This drive is described by riders as extremely powerful, progressive, quiet and efficient. It is paired with a large 800 Wh integrated battery that provides a range of up to ~157 km in favorable conditions.
Premium carbon frame and advanced technology
- Frame design: Full carbon with Ballistic Carbon Layup technology uses high-modulus fibers for maximum impact resistance and an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio using premium Hollow Core Internal Molding (HCIM). In addition, the slim down tube can easily accommodate a water bottle.
- Integration and details. It is compatible with telescopic seatposts up to 200 mm travel.
- Clean cockpit: A fully integrated 2" OLED Avinox DP100 touchscreen on the top tube complements the wireless controls on the Race Face Aeffect Riser handlebars with Ergon GE10 EVO grips. The entire system is compatible with the Avinox Ride app (via Bluetooth/4G) for detailed engine tuning and navigation.

- 180 mm front travel: downhill dominance is ensured by the robust FOX 38 FLOAT Factory fork with Kashima finish, which uncompromisingly irons out rocks, jumps and the toughest trails.

Lightning-fast and surgically precise shifting even under full engine thrust is ensured by the Shimano XTR Di2 12-speed electronic system with 10-51 tooth cassette and E-Thirteen cranks. Maximum stopping power at any speed is guaranteed by the Shimano XT four-piston hydraulic brakes with 203mm discs front and rear. The whole machine rolls on durable 29" DT Swiss H1700 TR wheels that perfectly overcome obstacles in rough terrain and are shod in top-quality Maxxis Assegai and Minion tyres with EXO TR protection. Anatomical comfort is complemented by a Fox Transfer Factory telescopic seatpost and Prologo Proxim Nembo saddle.

Avinox FS800 Battery
The Avinox Drive System battery with 800 Wh capacity offers long range and plenty of power. It is lightweight (3.74 kg), compact, and protected to IP56 standard. An intelligent health management system ensures long lifespan, retaining up to 80% capacity after 500 cycles. GaN fast charging recharges the 800 Wh battery to 75% in just 1.5 hours.
Display Avinox DP100
The display is integrated into the frame of the e-bike. It has a 2" OLED touch panel with a resolution of 326 ppi and a brightness of up to 800 nits, which automatically adjusts to the ambient lighting. It features GPS sensors, a gyroscope, a barometer and support for Bluetooth 5.1, ANT+ and LTE-Cat.1. It allows you to track your route, speed, cadence and performance with 8 GB of internal memory and synchronisation via the app. Control is provided by one or two wireless controllers on the handlebars – the left one for setting the level of assistance and the right one for scrolling through the display (the right controller is only available on selected models). The USB-C port supports fast charging with a power output of up to 65 W.
