The new generation of Torrent features Fun Ride geometry, which gives you better control of the e-bike in the terrain and on the trail, while also being more comfortable so you can stay in the saddle for much longer. The e-bike is powered by a powerful Shimano EP8 mid-motor, which offers 21% more power compared to the previously most powerful Shimano E8000 motor. 10% less weight with a total of 2.6 kg thanks to the use of magnesium for the motor block. 36% less friction and drag when pedalling with the drive off or above the motor assist speed limit. It delivers a pleasant but powerful riding experience. Power is provided by a reliable 504 Wh Darfon battery that lasts for really long trips.

The model is built on 29" wheels for fast riding on bike paths and all-day touring. Just to the left hand side is the SHIMANO SC-E5003 control unit. It provides a clear display illustrating the various functions of the system. The unit also doubles as a support switch, allowing the rider to increase or decrease the level of support with large, easily accessible buttons. Comfort is taken care of by a suspension fork with 120mm travel, and safe stopping is the job of Shimano's powerful hydraulic brakes.in terms of additional comfort, you will appreciate the WTB Ranger tyres with reflective stripe. The e-bike can be equipped with rack, mudguards, lock, lights and stand = Touring ready model. The ROCK MACHINE Torrent INT e90-29 can be the right companion for long touring trips or city riding.
