It weighs 10% less with a total of 2.6kg thanks to the use of magnesium for the motor block. 36% less friction and drag when pedalling with the drive off or above the motor assist speed limit. Delivering a pleasant but powerful riding experience, it is capable of reliably handling all your daily activities and offering a very pleasant and smooth ride. The engine is equipped with a torsion sensor that helps depending on how hard you pedal. You'll appreciate not only the power but also its exceptionally quiet operation. Even on the steepest terrain, it will help you in a very significant way. Power is provided by the reliable 500 Wh Darfon battery, which is enough for really long trips.

Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the bike can be linked to the E-TUBE PROJECT app (download for Android, iOS) which allows individual motor settings. The model is built on a 29" for fast cycling and all-day touring. Just to your left you'll find the SHIMANO SC-E5003 control unit.. It provides a clear display illustrating the various functions of the system. The unit also doubles as a support switch, allowing the rider to increase or decrease the level of support with large, easily accessible buttons. 

Comfort is taken care of by a suspension fork with 80mm travel, and safe stopping is the job of the powerful Shimano hydraulic brakes. The bike is fitted with full touring equipment such as a rack, mudguards, kickstand, lights and lock. In terms of additional comfort, you'll appreciate the WTB Riddler 29x1.75" tires with reflective stripe and the Block Lock head tube, which protects against damage to the frame by the handlebars in a fall. The ROCK MACHINE CrossRide INT e500 STePS touring can be the right companion for long touring trips or city riding.
