KELLYS THEOS AX40 - the e-MTB that pushes the boundaries of trail riding

The KELLYS THEOS AX40 is a modern full-suspension e-bike designed for demanding riders who want maximum performance, precise handling and confidence on any terrain. It combines cutting-edge frame construction, a powerful AVINOX drivetrain and premium Shimano and RockShox components into one perfectly balanced trail machine.

The foundation is the lightweight and strong KELLYS THEOS AX-series frame made with FLT welded 6061-T6 aluminium. The Horst-Link four-link rear suspension offers 160 mm of travel, which combined with modern geometry and Boost axles (148 mm at the rear) ensures stability even on the most demanding descents. Internal cable routing and the integrated TOKEN A-BOX system underline the clean and functional design.

The drive is powered by the compact and extremely powerful AVINOX M2 with up to 110 Nm of torque, even 125 Nm in Boost mode. Power is supplied by a fully integrated and easily removable AVINOX battery with a capacity of 800 Wh, which provides enough power even for all-day rides in the mountains. Control is handled wirelessly via the AVINOX BC100 with Bluetooth 5.1 and the AVINOX DPC100 colour OLED display provides an overview.

The trail capability of the e-bike is further enhanced by the top-of-the-line RockShox suspension - a Zeb Select fork with 170 mm travel at the front and a Super Deluxe DebonAir+ shock at the rear, which together provide perfect control even on aggressive terrain.

The Shimano Deore drivetrain combined with a Linkglide 11-50T cassette provides smooth and reliable operation even under load. Safe stopping is ensured by Shimano Deore hydraulic brakes with powerful 200mm Galfer discs front and rear.

The e-bike sits on durable 29" KLS Segador 30 SL rims and Schwalbe Magic Mary and Romy Trail tires, which offer great traction on technical terrain and fast trails. Comfort and control are complemented by a telescopic LIMOTEC seatpost with up to 170 mm of travel.

Avinox M2

The perfect balance of power and efficiency, with 110 Nm of torque (125 Nm with boost), a peak power output of 1100 W, and a lightweight design (2.65 kg). The second generation with helical gears and Dual Gear Engagement technology ensures quiet operation without knocking during descents. New bearings minimize resistance for a natural riding feel, while improved cooling ensures stability even in the heat. Integrated sensors enable adaptive power control based on cadence and riding conditions, making it the ideal, smooth workhorse for modern trail riding.

Avinox RS800 Battery

The Avinox RS800 battery, with a high capacity of 800 Wh, combines maximum power with the practicality of a removable system. Weighing 4.0 kg and featuring IP56 protection, it can be easily removed from the frame thanks to a locking mechanism and charged anywhere away from the bike. When paired with the M2S motor, it delivers an impressive continuous power output of 1300 W and can reach a peak of 1500 W in Boost mode. Intelligent health management ensures 80% capacity retention after 500 cycles, and GaN technology enables ultra-fast charging.

Avinox DPC100 Display

A smart 2" OLED touchscreen integrated into the frame with a high resolution of 326 ppi and 800 nits of brightness, which automatically adjusts to the surroundings. It is equipped with GPS sensors, a gyroscope, a barometer, and support for Bluetooth 5.1 and ANT+. The DPC100 model stands out with support for Apple Find My for easy bike tracking and allows you to adjust virtually all system functions directly on the screen without needing an app. It records your route, performance, and cadence in detail. Controls are complemented by wireless handlebar controls (right controller available only on select models) and a built-in 10W USB-C port for charging accessories while riding.

Extended 5-year warranty on Kellys frames

Kellys provides a standard 24-month warranty and an optional extended warranty on the frame for a total of 5 years for the first owner. This benefit applies only to individuals using the bike for recreation and is non-transferable. The extended warranty applies only to the frame construction, not to the paint, carbon frames, or moving parts of full-suspension bikes.

To activate the extended warranty, online registration is required within 60 days of purchase. Another condition is to have the first warranty inspection after 100 km and then regular annual servicing at a professional service center.
