GIANT ROAM E+ GTS

The Roam E+ is built on a lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame and features Yamaha's new SyncDrive Core engine. This is a lightweight and very compact motor with 50 Nm of torque, which is quite sufficient for this type of bike and also means that the motor consumes less battery power - so the bike has a longer range. There is also a Smart Assist riding mode, which is a fully automatic adjustment of the amount of support. A seamless connection between the motor and your own power is ensured by PedalPlus technology - a set of six sensors that measures your pedalling power with high precision and evaluates how much power to deliver to the motor to ensure the most efficient use of battery power.

Use RideControl to switch on the electric drive and select the desired power level or the fully automatic Smart Assist mode. As soon as you put your weight on the pedals, you activate the PedalPlus sensors, which transmit information to the control unit. This sends a request for the appropriate amount of energy to the EnergyPak battery. The energy is then transferred to the motor, which immediately and smoothly starts up and starts assisting you in pedalling. The 400 Wh EnergyPak battery supplies enough energy. The Giant RideControl One ANT+ control unit allows for the additional installation of a compatible display, which will be offered as an option. The walk assist function will facilitate the handling of the bike while walking.

Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, you can then pair your bike with the RideControl app, which you can download to your smartphone (downloadable for Android, iOS). This app will then offer you many other useful features, such as adjusting the amount of support in all riding modes or various fitness functions. In terms of riding comfort, you'll appreciate the suspension fork with 63 mm travel, the reliable hydraulic disc brakes or the Giant Crosscut Gravel 2 tyres.
