Hybrid Cycling technology combines the natural feel of traditional cycling with intelligent electrical support. Hybrid Cycling works with precise sensors that monitor pedaling power, cadence and speed. Based on this data, the motor delivers exactly the power the rider needs at any given moment. The result is a natural, smooth and quiet ride, without jerky reactions or a feeling of "engine push". It also contributes to better efficiency and longer range because the system only uses battery power when it is actually needed. This makes driving not only more comfortable, but also more economical.
a 3-position flip chip (low/mid/high positions) allows fine-tuning of the bike geometry to suit the terrain, riding style and rear wheel size, which can be 29" or 27.5". The eccentric inserts located in the upper wishbone of the Maestro suspension serve this purpose. To adjust to the low and high positions, the inserts rotate, to adjust to the "neutral" position, the low/high inserts are swapped with the center position inserts. Changing the position of the flip chip mainly affects the angle of the head tube and seat tube and will also affect the height of the centre of the pedal (BB drop).
MAESTRO UNLOCKING - Four strategically placed pins and two rocker arms combine to create one virtual (floating) centre of rotation for the rear structure. This neutralizes the effect of the rear brake and makes the system fully active and highly sensitive to all types of irregularities, without unwanted swaying when pedaling.

Powerful drivetrain and advanced batteries
The Reign Advanced E+ 2 features Giant's intelligent SyncDrive Pro 3 electric motor, which delivers up to 90 Nm of torque and 800 watts of maximum power on a 48-volt system thanks to pedal assist technology. This means powerful and smooth assistance not only on steep climbs but also on aggressive riding in technical terrain.
The motor is powered by an integrated EnergyPak Smart 560 Wh battery that offers a solid combination of power, weight and durability. Plus, the battery can be expanded with the EnergyPak Plus for significantly longer trips without compromise.
Premium suspension and stable frame
The model sits on a composite frame with Fox Float rear suspension and a generous 170mm of travel at the rear and 180mm at the front, which together with the progressive geometry provides stability even on steep descents and confidence when landing from drops or on technical sections.
The Reign Advanced E+ 2 features a rugged construction with underframe protection that protects the battery and motor during impacts. This design allows you to ride without fear even on very challenging trails.
