Hybrid Cycling technology combines the natural feel of traditional cycling with intelligent electrical support. Hybrid Cycling works with precise sensors that monitor pedaling power, cadence and speed. Based on this data, the motor delivers exactly the power the rider needs at any given moment. The result is a natural, smooth and quiet ride, without jerky reactions or a feeling of "engine push". It also contributes to better efficiency and longer range because the system only uses battery power when it is actually needed. This makes driving not only more comfortable, but also more economical.
All SyncDrive engines use Smart Assist technology, which adapts engine assistance to the needs of the driver. It is the only system in the e-bike category that uses both rider data and feedback from the field to determine the ideal level of engine support, using information from multiple sensors. It delivers a smooth and natural ride with enough power for the riding situation, while saving power when less is needed.
ALUXX SL Aluminum is a high-end aluminum alloy developed by GIANT for the production of lightweight and high-strength electric bike frames. It offers lower weight, higher strength and better stiffness, which translates directly into riding performance.
ALUXX SL frames are manufactured using advanced hydroforming, which allows the individual tubes to be precisely shaped according to their load. This makes the frames light where it's possible and strong where it's needed. The result is an optimal balance between strength, comfort and weight. The great advantage of this alloy is also its high resistance to material fatigue and corrosion, which guarantees a long frame life even under intensive use.

Performance and assistance
The Fathom E+ 2 EX is powered by Giant's powerful SyncDrive Sport 2 electric motor, which delivers up to 75Nm of torque and smooth, responsive pedalling assistance. From gentle assistance to powerful hill assist, the motor provides support that matches the exact strength of your pedaling, enhancing both comfort and performance on the ride.
The integrated Giant EnergyPak Smart 625 Wh battery offers longer range, perfect for day trips or weekend adventures. The optional EnergyPak Plus can be used for even more capacity and longer trail endurance.
Design and handling
The ALUXX SL lightweight aluminum alloy frame provides a strong and efficient platform for trail riding. The hardtail construction with a stiff rear is ideal for quick reactions in technical terrain, while being easier to maintain than full-suspension models.
The 130mm travel fork absorbs uneven terrain while providing ample comfort even when riding on paved roads or bike paths. 29" wheels improve trail clearance and stability for faster riding.

Baterry GIANT EnergyPak Smart 625 Wh
Battery designed for Giant and Liv electric bikes, which have the battery integrated in the lower frame tube. It has an extra capacity of 625 Wh for a really high range.
Advanced BMS (Battery Management System) circuitry optimizes charging performance through continuous communication between the battery and charger.
Charging time to 80% capacity: 2 hours and 20 minutes.
