GIANT Trance X E+ 3

The new generation of the Trance X E+ 3 full-suspension e-bike with 29" wheels, while maintaining the same 150 mm front and 140 mm rear travel. The new feature is the adjustable geometry via a flip-chip. It features a Giant SyncDrive Pro Yamaha mid-motor with 85 Nm of torque and up to 400% boost. The integrated EnergyPak Smart battery has a 750 Wh capacity. The Trance X E+ 3 is built on an ALUXX SL-grade Aluminum frame and provides 140 mm of travel through the Maestro suspension. The Maestro suspension is fully active and highly responsive, making off-road riding more enjoyable and fun. This system also eliminates unwanted rocking when pedaling, so you don't waste energy and ride smoother, faster and with less effort. The upper suspension arm has a flip chip in it, which is used to easily adjust the bike's geometry - the Low position is suitable for fast "aggressive" terrain, while setting it to High creates a more XC-oriented riding position.

Yamaha's Giant SyncDrive Pro mid-motor delivers a high 85Nm of torque and offers up to 400% boost. In addition to five riding modes, there is also a fully automatic adjustment of the amount of support (Smart Assist). The motor takes its power from a 750 Wh EnergyPak Smart battery. For very fast battery charging, you get a 6-amp Smart Charger with the bike. The bike frame is ready for the installation of a second EnergyPak Plus battery, which adds another 250 Wh for even more range. There are two control units on the bike for convenient motor control. Right at the handlebar is the unobtrusive RideControl Ergo 3 controller, which you can use to switch between riding modes even when riding on more challenging terrain. Directly on the frame is the RideControl Go controller, which is a multi-purpose button and colored LEDs that indicate the selected riding mode and battery level. 

Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, you can then pair your bike with the RideControl app, which you can download to your smartphone (downloadable for Android, iOS). This app gives you, for example, adjustments to the amount of support in all riding modes or various fitness functions. The ANT+ connectivity will also allow you to connect your e-bike with some devices that use this modern communication protocol (bike computers, sports navigation and sporttesters). The Trance X E+ 3 model has 1x12 gearing with a wide range of gears, a telescopic seatpost with handlebar controls, and wider rims and tyres are also important for greater comfort and safe off-road riding - all models therefore have 2.6" tubeless tyres on rims with an internal width of 30 mm.

The Giant RideControl app opens up a world of connectivity for your Giant e-bike. This app allows you to connect your phone to an e-bike , allowing you to keep your e-bike up to date , customize engine settings , and use the e-bike display to navigate.

GIANT SyncDrive Pro 85 Nm by Yamaha

The latest generation SyncDrive Pro is significantly more compact and lighter than its predecessor, but still impresses with up to 85 Nm of torque.

At the strongest of the five levels of support, SyncDrive Pro should deliver about four times what the rider develops. Using multiple sensors that also take into account the gradient of the incline, the dynamic and progressive SmartAssist mode cleverly adjusts the level of support to the riding situation.

Battery GIANT EnergyPak Smart 800 Wh

Modern lithium battery for Giant and Liv electric bikes. The EnergyPak Smart 800 offers a higher capacity at almost the same size.

This is the latest generation and highest quality battery technology that is purely integrated into the frame. It features an advanced Battery Management System for continuous communication between the battery and charger to optimize charging performance.

The battery is composed of Panasonic lithium cells specific for electric bicycles - it contains 40 cells of the modern 21700 type. Larger cells bring increased density, lower weight and greater volume - this means the battery heats up less and its lifetime is extended.

Ride Control Go

System RideControl Go is available on premium Giant E-bikes, RideControl Go features a multipurpose button integrated into the top tube. Colored LEDs allow you to switch power modes from the top tube and keep a clean handlebar setup. The lights also display battery level and support mode.
