The new model GIANT Stormguard E+ 2 2023 belongs to the category of SUV electric bikes. The powerful SyncDrive Pro 2 85Nm motor, powered by Yamaha, the Giant EnergyPak 800Wh battery, front and rear suspension and belt drive ensure a very wide range of applications for this model. You'll enjoy a comfortable ride in the city, on the rush to work, and even on an ambitious yachting adventure. The SyncDrive Pro Yamaha motor with 85 Nm of torque and up to 400% boost is the most advanced and powerful type of motor used on GIANT e-bikes. The 800 Wh EnergyPak battery provides plenty of power for long rides, plus there's compatibility with the optional EnergyPak Plus 250 battery.
The front and rear suspension (100 / 100 mm travel) make the ride more comfortable, which you will appreciate not only off-road but also in the city on uneven surfaces. The special "floating" rear rack can carry up to 15 kg of load and is attached to the main part of the frame, allowing the rear wheel to move throughout the entire suspension range (rack and suspension do not affect each other). The drive is handled by a Gates Carbon Drive CDX carbon belt, which is always clean (no need to lubricate) and lasts over 10,000 km even in demanding conditions. Shimano Nexus gearing hidden in the rear hub can handle heavy loads and high mileage while providing high reliability and precision.
GIANT SyncDrive Pro 85 Nm by Yamaha
The latest generation SyncDrive Pro is significantly more compact and lighter than its predecessor, but still impresses with up to 85 Nm of torque.
At the strongest of the five levels of support, SyncDrive Pro should deliver about four times what the rider develops. Using multiple sensors that also take into account the gradient of the incline, the dynamic and progressive SmartAssist mode cleverly adjusts the level of support to the riding situation.

Modern lithium battery for Giant and Liv electric bikes. The EnergyPak Smart 800 offers a higher capacity at almost the same size.
This is the latest generation and highest quality battery technology that is purely integrated into the frame. It features an advanced Battery Management System for continuous communication between the battery and charger to optimize charging performance.
The battery is composed of Panasonic lithium cells specific for electric bicycles - it contains 40 cells of the modern 21700 type. Larger cells bring increased density, lower weight and greater volume - this means the battery heats up less and its lifetime is extended.
