The first-class e-gravel has everything you could want from a modern e-bike. You can use it for weekend trail fooling around and everyday commuting around town. The new Gravel Fun geometry has been developed and designed to make e-bikes as agile and playful as possible, while being safe and comfortable for all-day trips in the countryside.
The e-bike is powered by a powerful Shimano EP8 mid-motor, which offers:
- 21% more power compared to the most powerful Shimano E8000 motor to date.
- 10% less weight thanks to the use of magnesium for the motor block.
- 36% less friction and drag when pedaling with the drive off or above the motor assist speed limit.
Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the e-bike can be connected to the E-TUBE PROJECT app (downloadable for Android, iOS) which allows individual motor settings.power is provided by a 500 Wh Darfon battery, which is sufficient for long trips. Just to the left hand side is the SHIMANO SC-EM800 control unit, which provides a clear display illustrating the various functions of the system. The unit also doubles as a support switch, allowing the rider to increase or decrease the level of support via large, easily accessible buttons. Comfort is taken care of by a suspension fork with 100mm of travel, and safe stopping is the job of Shimano's powerful hydraulic brakes. You'll also appreciate the WTB Venture tyres.
The e-bike offers the option of installing a control unit accessory that deactivates the speed limit of 25 km/h. The product removes the speed limit without any adverse effects.

The Shimano EP8 electric motor, rated at 250W and 85Nm of torque, means 21% more power compared to the most powerful motor to date, the Shimano E8000. 10% lighter weight with a total of 2.6 kg thanks to the use of magnesium for the motor block. Redesigned bearings and gear connections inside the motor, resulting in 36% less friction and drag when pedalling with the drive off or above the motor assist speed limit.
