The new generation of the GIANT Explore E+ PRO model, which brings several major innovations and is the perfect companion for trips in the countryside and riding in the city. The new frame with improved geometry is equipped with a second-generation Giant SyncDrive Pro by Yamaha motor and the latest 800 Wh EnergyPak Smart batteryprovides plenty of power. At the heart of the Explore E+ range is the ALUXX SL aluminium frame, featuring a Giant SyncDrive Pro 2 Yamaha mid-motor with 85Nm of torque, 400% maximum support and Smart Assist mode, which is a fully automatic adjustment of the amount of motor support. A sophisticated PedalPlus sensor system ensures a completely seamless connection between the motor and your own power. A seamless connection between the motor and your own power is ensured by a set of six sensors that assess exactly how much power the motor should deliver, which also optimises battery power consumption. The result is an easily predictable and natural engine response, and a ride that is pleasant, smooth and with the optimum amount of power for the riding situation.

In terms of riding comfort, you'll appreciate the suspension fork with 100 mm travel and the reliable Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. The Explore E+ PRO 1 DD is also equipped with mudguards, a rear rack, lighting and a kickstand. Power is supplied by the latest EnergyPak Smart battery with a capacity of 800 Wh. It is fully integrated in the frame down tube and removable to the side. It offers a compact size thanks to the use of the latest Panasonic lithium cells specific for electric bikes (40 cells type 21700). Fast charging of the battery is ensured by the EnergyPak 6A Smart Charger. In addition, the frame of the e-bike is ready for the installation of an additional EnergyPak Plus 250 Wh battery for even greater range.

Convenient mode switching is provided by the RideControl Ergo 2 controller, which also includes separate buttons for Smart Assist auto mode, walk assist and lighting. LEDs indicate the selected riding mode and battery level, and there's a USB-C connector for charging your phone. The RideDash EVO colour display integrated in the handlebar shows all important information. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, you can then pair your bike with the RideControl app, which you can download to your smartphone (downloadable for Android, iOS). This app offers many other useful features, such as adjusting the amount of support in all riding modes or various fitness functions.

This high-performance modern aluminium material is made primarily from 6011 alloy and provides the best strength-to-weight ratio in its class. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for high performance ride quality.

GIANT SyncDrive Pro 85 Nm by Yamaha

The latest generation SyncDrive Pro is significantly more compact and lighter than its predecessor, but still impresses with up to 85 Nm of torque.

At the strongest of the five levels of support, SyncDrive Pro should deliver about four times what the rider develops. Using multiple sensors that also take into account the gradient of the incline, the dynamic and progressive SmartAssist mode cleverly adjusts the level of support to the riding situation.

Battery GIANT EnergyPak Smart 800 Wh

Modern lithium battery for Giant and Liv electric bikes. The EnergyPak Smart 800 offers a higher capacity at almost the same size.

This is the latest generation and highest quality battery technology that is purely integrated into the frame. It features an advanced Battery Management System for continuous communication between the battery and charger to optimize charging performance.

The battery is composed of Panasonic lithium cells specific for electric bicycles - it contains 40 cells of the modern 21700 type. Larger cells bring increased density, lower weight and greater volume - this means the battery heats up less and its lifetime is extended.
