BULLS Sonic SX 2 - Lightweight Sports E-Bike
It combines a sophisticated carbon frame with a compact Bosch Performance Line SX drive system. It’s designed for cyclists who want a natural riding feel, low weight, and plenty of power for sporty rides, forest trails, and even more challenging trails. Thanks to its high-quality components and dropper seatpost, it offers a high level of control and riding comfort.
At the heart of the bike is the Bosch Performance Line SX with torque of up to 55 Nm. The lightweight and compact motor provides natural pedaling assistance while offering very low resistance when riding without assistance. The drive operates within the Bosch Smart System, and control is handled by the Bosch Mini Remote and System Controller.
Using the Bosch eBike Flow app, you can connect the system to your smartphone and take advantage of its smart features.
Power is supplied by a slim, integrated 400 Wh Bosch CompactTube battery, which contributes to the bike’s light weight and the clean look of the carbon frame. For longer rides, the capacity can be expanded using a compatible Bosch PowerMore 250 Wh Range Extender. This allows the bike to be adapted for both shorter sport rides and longer excursions.
The model is built around a highly engineered Sonic carbon frame with internal cable routing and a sporty geometry. The frame’s low weight and high stiffness promote quick responses and precise handling. The RockShox SID RL Boost suspension fork with 120 mm of travel helps absorb bumps and enhances comfort and control when riding off-road.
Precise and fast shifting is provided by the wireless SRAM GX Eagle AXS 1×12 electronic groupset with a SRAM XG-1275 cassette ranging from 10 to 52 teeth. The wide gear range makes steep climbs easier while also providing plenty of speed for brisk descents. Electronic shifting also contributes to a clean cockpit and allows for precise gear changes with the simple press of a button.
Safe stopping power is provided by TRP C2.3 RX hydraulic disc brakes with 203 mm rotors up front and 180 mm rotors in the rear. The Mavic E-Crossmax XL S CL wheelset and Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance 29 × 2.35" tires offer a good combination of stability, traction, and low rolling resistance. For technical descents, the bike is equipped with a LIMOTEC Alpha 1UH dropper seatpost, which allows you to quickly adjust the saddle height to suit the current terrain.
A practical addition is the MonkeyLink system, which allows you to attach compatible lights. The MonkeyLink Twinlight rear light improves visibility when riding in low-light conditions. Thanks to its design and features, the BULLS Sonic SX 2 is primarily intended for sporty riding on mixed terrain, unpaved roads, trails, and uneven surfaces.
