BULLS Sonic AM-SX I - Lightweight All-Mountain / Trail eMTB with a Carbon Frame

The BULLS SONIC AM-SX I is a premium full-suspension Light Assist eMTB that combines extremely low weight, a carbon frame, and a natural yet powerful Bosch Performance Line SX drive. It is designed for sporty riding on trails, technical singletrack, and longer mountain routes. Thanks to its sophisticated suspension setup with 140 mm of travel up front and 130 mm in the rear, it offers excellent control and agility on challenging terrain.

Lightweight Bosch Performance Line SX

At the heart of the bike is the compact Bosch Performance Line SX mid-drive motor with up to 55 Nm of torque. The drive system is characterized by its light weight, quick response to pedaling, and very low resistance when riding without assistance. Combined with the lightweight carbon frame, the BULLS SONIC AM-SX I feels more like a classic electric-assist mountain bike on the trail than a heavy e-bike. Bosch also offers a free Performance Upgrade for the Performance Line SX, which uses the Bosch eBike Flow app to boost the drive’s performance to up to 60 Nm, 600 W, and 400% assistance.

Integrated 400 Wh battery

Power is supplied by a slim, integrated 400 Wh Bosch CompactTube battery. Its compact design helps keep the bike’s weight low and maintains the clean lines of the carbon frame. For longer rides, the frame is also compatible with the Bosch PowerMore Range Extender, which allows you to increase energy capacity without needing a larger main battery.

Carbon Frame and Full Suspension

The model is built around the sophisticated Sonic Carbon frame, which combines high stiffness, low weight, and sporty geometry. The full-suspension system with 140/130 mm of travel provides ample comfort and traction when riding over roots, rocks, and other uneven terrain. BULLS classifies this model as a sporty all-mountain e-bike designed for mixed terrain, trails, and more challenging routes. One of the model’s main advantages is its exceptionally low weight of around 18 kg, which makes the e-bike extremely agile and easy to handle.

Top-of-the-line trail equipment

Shifting is handled by the wireless SRAM XX Eagle AXS electronic groupset , which offers fast and precise gear changes without traditional shift cables. The wide gear range makes steep climbs easier while also allowing for a brisk ride on flat sections.
The bike is further equipped with high-quality RockShox Ultimate suspension, Mavic E-Crossmax Carbon wheels, and durable Schwalbe tires. The e-bike is also equipped with a dropper seatpost, which allows the rider to quickly lower the seat before technical descents and provides more room for active handling of the bike.
