The riding performance and very reasonable price of the Teewing Turbo Force XT model, an e-bike powered by the DJI Avinox motor, made a real impression on us. Below we bring detailed insights from testing and experiences from the trails.
Test and first impressions

Teewing Turbo Force attracts considerable attention, especially the XT version, which underwent testing. With a price starting at 6 149 €, it shows that a fully equipped e-MTB of this level can now compete in price with many non-motorized bikes in the same category, without cutting corners on equipment. The DJI Avinox M1 motor is among the best currently on the market.
Although the price and power impress, the real value lies in the riding characteristics. Some compare the Turbo Force to the older Trek Fuel EXe model, which is not a bad comparison. Trek was praised for its clean lines, balanced geometry, and versatile riding performance. The look of the Turbo Force XT and its powerful motor are matched by excellent trail performance.
Overview and construction

A trail e-bike as an everyday all-rounder. The Turbo Force fits this category perfectly – lively, fast, versatile, and comfortable. Currently, it is the only model in Teewing’s lineup, and its design decisions reflect that.
The bike is built around 150 mm of rear travel, paired with a 160 mm fork and the DJI Avinox M1 drive unit. The frame continues the philosophy of “sensible” design: neatly routed cables, clean lines, no proprietary parts, and easy access to the shock and hardware. The logic that simplifies riding also shows during workshop maintenance. All components are easily accessible and servicing is quick and simple. The bike is practical and reliable even for quick pre-ride fixes.
Only three sizes are available, conservatively: M, L, and XL, with reach ranging from 453–500 mm. All sizes feature a 445 mm chainstay, 64.5° head angle, and 77° seat angle. There are no flip chips or geometry adjustment options, and the bike does not support mixed wheel setups without compromise.
The Turbo Force XT weighs 21.8 kg, which is excellent for a full-power e-MTB with an 800 Wh battery. The lower weight is mainly thanks to the 2.58 kg Avinox drive, the efficient Avinox battery, and the 2.37 kg carbon frame. The components withstand demanding testing, indicating the bike was not underbuilt to save weight.

Riding performance

The Turbo Force is lively, fast, and intuitive — excellent riding performance. On singletrack it quickly builds speed, and thanks to the 29-inch wheels it smoothly rolls over obstacles and rough terrain. The Fox Float Performance shock and Rhythm 36 fork keep the e-bike stable and responsive.
The tested bike in size L with a 476 mm reach immediately felt right. In the air, the Teewing is balanced and predictable, feeling at home on jumps.
DJI Avinox system and real-world range

The Avinox M1 motor is powerful yet lightweight (2.58 kg). It delivers 105 Nm of continuous torque with a short-term boost up to 120 Nm for 60 seconds and a peak power of 1000 W. It is also highly adjustable via the app.
- - Trail mode + maximum Overrun provides strong assistance without unnecessary full power.
- - 120 Nm Boost (30–60 s) for maximum output.
- - Auto mode optimizes settings during the ride.
- - Eco mode reduces motor resistance and is ideal for fitness rides or riding with non-motorized bikes.
Precise range measurement is difficult, but during testing it was possible to climb 1,640 m of elevation on a fully charged 800 Wh battery, entirely in Turbo mode and with heavier DH tires. This was with a rider weight of 76 kg and very steep terrain. It is usually not necessary to ride constantly in Turbo mode. Trail mode with Boost only on steep sections extends range. Teewing offers two batteries, with the Turbo Force standardly equipped with the larger 800 Wh unit, which sits elegantly and slim inside the frame.
Components

Suspension: Solid and predictable (for heavier loads, a piggyback shock with compression adjustment is recommended).
Drivetrain and brakes: The Shimano XT drivetrain works excellently, and the SLX M7120 brakes provide plenty of power even on technical sections.
Wheels: Breo-X1701E wheelsets withstand heavy impacts.
Tires: EXO+ for speed and low weight (for harsher use, more durable tires would be better).
Verdict

The Turbo Force XT is balanced, fun, and well built. The Avinox motor is excellent, but the biggest advantage is user comfort and tuning capability. This e-bike proves itself as a top-tier trail e-MTB that deserves attention on every trail.
Teewing is planning another model, the Teewing Flux, a high-pivot enduro e-MTB with longer travel and the option for mixed wheel setup. Something to look forward to!
