Central motors are currently the most widely used drives in e-bikes, and although their introduction did not come until 2014, their advantages quickly gained great popularity. Central engines have almost pushed out the hub engines and are already found in almost all types of e-bikes.
The Czech Republic's traditional manufacturer 4EVER offers off-road and trekking e-bikes using Bafang and Brose motors made in Germany.
