The Rock Machine Torrent is a versatile partner that not only pleases on weekend trips, but also serves well as a practical means of transport to the city. The newly redesigned aluminium frame with a sleek design emphasises strength, stability and great handling.
Power is provided by a powerful Shimano STePS EP6 motor with 85 Nm of torque. In conjunction with a 504 Wh battery, it can travel up to 150 km (depending on surface type and riding style). A great travel companion is the Shimano SC-EM800 colour display.
The Rock Shox Judy Silver TK air fork with 120 mm travel irons out bumps, while the reliable microSHIFT Advent 1x9 derailleur with 11-46 tooth range handles hills and straights with ease. Shimano MT420 four-piston brakes ensure safe stopping and the wide WTB Ranger 29×2.25" tyres provide excellent traction.
There is also a suspension seatpost and a comfortable WTB saddle - in short, the ideal companion for trips and everyday commuting.

Shimano EP6
SHIMANO STEPS EP600 provides 85 Nm of pedaling assistance up to 25 km/h. It also supports new CAN and ACC ports and compatibility with Shimano's second generation battery management system. The total weight of the motor is just 3 kg and is made of high quality aluminium. The EP6 differs from the EP8 only in its housing material and its weight, in this case about 0.3 kg heavier.
