Gravel fork E-Astr 7E9
Robust and reliable fixed front fork designed for electric bikes. Thanks to its durable construction, it provides high stiffness and stability when riding, which you'll appreciate during your daily commute and recreational rides. The fork is optimized for use with disc brakes and offers firm and precise wheel guidance without loss of power. The simple design with no moving parts means minimal maintenance and a long service life.
The SRAM Rival XPLR 1×13 delivers AXS wireless electronic shifting and a wide range of gears in a simple 1×13 system. The lack of a front derailleur makes the system lighter, more reliable and easier to use. It enables precise, fast and wireless shifting that can be easily personalised via a mobile app. The ergonomic levers are designed for a comfortable grip even in challenging conditions and provide confidence in controlling the bike on gravel, road and light terrain.

RIDLEY E-ASTR Rival XPLR: A lightweight gravel e-bike that retains the soul of racing gravel
The E-ASTR Rival XPLR is one of the most interesting models in the range. It offers a natural ride, minimal electro-system weight and a powerful SRAM Rival XPLR AXS 1x13 wireless groupset - the ideal choice for those who want longer and more challenging gravel trips without losing the sporty character.
The lightweight and discreet TQ HPR40 drivetrain
At the heart of the e-bike is the compact TQ HPR40 mid-motor. This is one of the lightest, smallest and quietest motors on the market. It delivers a maximum of 40 Nm of torque and 200 W of peak power. The assist is designed as a "light assist" - gently smoothing out gradients, extending range and yet not interfering with the natural feel of the ride. The motor disengages smoothly above 25 km/h and adds virtually no drag when pedalling without assistance.
The battery is integrated into the down tube and has a capacity of 290 Wh (weight approx. 1.46 kg). The entire system (motor + battery + controls) weighs approximately 2.7 kg, so the e-bike remains very close to its non-electric sibling in terms of looks and handling.
Estimated range is up to around 130 km / 2000 m of elevation gain in eco mode (for riders around 80 kg), depending of course on terrain, riding style and level of assistance.
Geometry and technical parameters
The E-ASTR shares the modern sporty geometry of the ASTR series:
- head angle approx. 71.5°
- seat tube angle 74°
- short rear fork (425 mm)
- generous tyre clearance up to 52 mm (on 700c wheels in 1x layout)
The frame is made of HM carbon, optimized for the TQ engine, with a fixed fork, through axles (12x100 mm front, 12x142 mm rear) and UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) support. The bike is ready for tubeless tires and offers excellent stiffness and comfort even on rougher terrain.
This e-bike will appeal especially to active gravel riders and racers who want to:
- retain the fast, agile and racing character of classic gravel
- add subtle electric assistance for longer routes, harder climbs or fatigue at the end of a long day
- have an e-bike that looks and acts like a regular high-end gravel bike, not a "fat" e-bike.
The discrete design, low system weight and natural TQ motor expression make the E-ASTR one of the cleanest e-gravel bikes available today.
