The Ridley E-ASTR Apex XPLR AXS e-bike pushes the boundaries of gravel cycling. It combines the racing DNA of a classic gravel bike with unobtrusive electric assistance that lengthens trails, eases climbs and maintains an authentic riding feel. Natural and unobtrusive assistance
At the heart of the bike is the innovative TQ HPR40 drivetrain, which offers very subtle and natural assistance. The motor only activates when it's needed - for example, on climbs or in headwinds. This makes the ride feel as natural as on a conventional gravel bike, without the "heavy" feeling of an electric drive.
Thanks to the sensitive torsion sensor, the system responds precisely to the force of your pedaling, ensuring smooth performance even on more demanding trails.
Compact battery for long rides
The integrated 290 Wh battery is neatly concealed in the frame, keeping the weight low and the design clean. It offers plenty of power for day rides, training rides and gravel adventures.
For longer routes, an external range extender can be used to significantly extend the range and allow you to safely cover over 100km without the need to recharge.
Carbon frame and progressive gravel geometry
The bike's frame is made from premium carbon and is based on the ASTR racing platform. It offers the ideal combination of stiffness, comfort and light weight.
