PearTune plugs into the e-bike system using compatible original connectors. There is no setup or diagnostics required during installation. All configuration and adaptation to the settings of the specific e-bike is provided automatically.

PearTune is wired between the speedometer sensor and the motor unit and between the display and the motor unit. The display power supply is used as the power supply. All data such as current, average, maximum speed, distance traveled, etc. remain true on the display.

The PearTune MSO can be activated / deactivated at any time while driving by two LONG presses of the LIGHT button or by a short press of the + button followed immediately by the - button.

The only difference is that from the moment of installation you, not your bike, determine how fast you go. The maximum speed is limited only by the frequency of pedaling.

Using

MSO-BF-M500: The PearTune MSO can be activated/deactivated at any time during the ride by two LONG presses of the LIGHT button or by a short press of the + button followed immediately by the - button. PearTune MSO activity is indicated on the display by 9.9 km/h or 6.2 mph (PearTune is activated) and 2.5 km/h or 1.6 mph (PearTune is deactivated) for a few seconds after activation/deactivation. In case you have the "Still ON" version, you don't need to do anything to activate = the chip activates/deactivates automatically when you turn the bike on/off. In case you have the 4.0 SMART version, you can change the activation buttons in the SERVICE MENU of the CHIP freely.
