Hybrid Cycling Technology is a system that combines electric power with human power to create the most efficient, powerful and natural electric cycling experience. It is the seamless extension of the rider's own power that sets Liv and Giant electric bikes apart from other electric bikes. The system consists of four key innovative technologies that work in harmony with the power of your own body - a seamless extension of your own abilities.
ALUXX ALUMINUM technology. The material for the production of frames with a focus on performance cycling is characterized by the 6061 alloy with one reinforced tube. It is used to produce strong and lightweight framesets for different types of bikes and e-bikes and riding styles

LIV Intrigue X E+2 e-bike. The ALUXX SL aluminium frame with women's trail/enduro geometry is equipped with Maestro suspension and provides 140 mm of travel and 150 cm of fork travel. The Trunnion Mount rear shock mount delivers high suspension responsiveness, while the carbon upper wishbone increases the stiffness of the entire suspension system. The Giant SyncDrive Pro Yamaha mid-motor (80 Nm) is more compact and lighter in weight compared to the "Sport" motor, offers higher maximum boost (up to 360%) and can handle higher cadence (up to 120 rpm). Instant pedaling response and efficient battery power distribution are ensured by Giant's 6-sensor PedalPlus technology.
The fully integrated battery, located underneath the downtube, offers a 625 Wh capacity. And because it's located underneath, there's room for a bottle basket on top of the downtube. In the event that you completely deplete the battery, the new SmartCharger six-amp fast charger will charge the battery to 60% capacity in 90 minutes. The RideControl ONE control unit is used for selecting riding modes, and features dominant ergonomic buttons for switching between riding modes (5 to choose from), LEDs to display battery status and the selected riding mode, and a walk assist button.
Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, you can then pair your bike with the Giant RideControl app, which you can download to your smartphone (for Android and iOS) - this app will then offer you a host of other useful features, such as tuning (tweaking) your riding modes or fitness functions, including an analysis of your performance.
The popular telescopic seatpost with internally guided controls is also a must, especially on steep descents - the saddle doesn't get in the way when lowered and you can easily shift your centre of gravity over the rear wheel.
Giant SyncDrive center 250 W electric motors are the result of the close cooperation of Giant with the leader in electric motors – Yamaha, guaranteeing their high quality and reliability.
Despite the compact size, they deliver a high torque of up to 80 Nm, which shows just as soon as you start your ride. Their immediate response is also important – the motor starts running as soon as you begin to pedal. This quick response will not only help you when accelerating, but also truly comes in handy in many steep climbs, when you rely on the e-bike to "pull" you up.
The SyncDrive motors produce proportional and linear support, and their operation is predictable, smooth and quiet, simply a natural boost to your own energy.
