Hybrid Cycling technology combines the natural feel of traditional cycling with intelligent electrical support. Hybrid Cycling works with precise sensors that monitor pedaling power, cadence and speed. Based on this data, the motor delivers exactly the power the rider needs at any given moment. The result is a natural, smooth and quiet ride, without jerky reactions or a feeling of "engine push". It also contributes to better efficiency and longer range because the system only uses battery power when it is actually needed. This makes driving not only more comfortable, but also more economical.
All SyncDrive engines use Smart Assist technology, which adapts engine assistance to the needs of the driver. It is the only system in the e-bike category that uses both rider data and feedback from the field to determine the ideal level of engine support, using information from multiple sensors. It delivers a smooth and natural ride with enough power for the riding situation, while saving power when less is needed.
The additional 250 Wh EnergyPak Plus battery increases the range of the e-bike by a significant number of kilometres or vertical metres. It combines all the latest battery technologies with a modern design. If the main battery runs out during a ride, the system automatically switches to the EnergyPak Plus battery. This battery is offered as an option for certain Giant and Liv electric bike models.
The GIANT E-Lock System is a modern electronic security system designed for GIANT electric bicycles that significantly increases protection against theft. The system is fully integrated into the electronics of the e-bike and connected to the RideControl / Giant E-Bike App. When E-Lock is activated, the drive system is electronically locked so that the e-bike cannot be used or ridden without the owner's authorisation. Unlocking is done simply via an app on a smartphone or via a paired display.
ALUXX SL Aluminum is a high-end aluminum alloy developed by GIANT for the production of lightweight and high-strength electric bike frames. It offers lower weight, higher strength and better stiffness, which translates directly into riding performance.
ALUXX SL frames are manufactured using advanced hydroforming, which allows the individual tubes to be precisely shaped according to their load. This makes the frames light where it's possible and strong where it's needed. The result is an optimal balance between strength, comfort and weight. The great advantage of this alloy is also its high resistance to material fatigue and corrosion, which guarantees a long frame life even under intensive use.

With a powerful SyncDrive Pro 3X motor delivering up to 100 Nm of torque and a large 800 Wh battery, it's ready for tough climbs, fast descents and technical passages. Confidence and stability on any terrain
The geometry of the LIV Embolden E+ 1 is optimised for women: the 76.5° seat tube angle and 64.5° fork angle ensure a lower centre of gravity, resulting in better stability on descents and excellent handling on technical terrain. The FlexPoint single pivot suspension offers 140mm of travel at the rear and 150mm at the front, effectively absorbing bumps and minimising energy loss when pedalling thanks to an improved anti-squat design. The ALUXX SL-grade aluminum frame is lightweight, robust and compatible with the 148x12 Boost standard for added stiffness.
Components are chosen with reliability and comfort in mind: a Giant STL 36 Air fork with five-position compression adjustment, a Giant Crest FloTrac rear shock with three positions, and Maxxis Minion DHF (front) and Dissector (rear) tires for excellent traction on a variety of surfaces. Giant AM30 wheels are available in 29" for S, M, L and 27.5" for XS, ready for tubeless use, reducing the risk of punctures and increasing comfort.

Battery GIANT EnergyPak Smart 800 Wh
Modern lithium battery for Giant and Liv e-bikes. The EnergyPak Smart 800 offers a higher capacity at almost the same size.
This is the latest generation and highest quality battery technology that is purely integrated into the frame. It features an advanced Battery Management System for continuous communication between the battery and charger to optimize charging performance.
The battery is composed of Panasonic lithium cells specific for electric bicycles - it contains 40 cells of the modern 21700 type. Larger cells bring increased density, lower weight and greater volume - this means the battery heats up less and its lifetime is extended.
