Hybrid Cycling technology combines the natural feel of traditional cycling with intelligent electrical support. Hybrid Cycling works with precise sensors that monitor pedaling power, cadence and speed. Based on this data, the motor delivers exactly the power the rider needs at any given moment. The result is a natural, smooth and quiet ride, without jerky reactions or a feeling of "engine push". It also contributes to better efficiency and longer range because the system only uses battery power when it is actually needed. This not only makes driving more comfortable but also more economical.
All SyncDrive engines use Smart Assist technology, which adapts engine assistance to the needs of the driver. It is the only system in the e-bike category that uses both rider data and feedback from the field to determine the ideal level of engine support, using information from multiple sensors. It delivers a smooth and natural ride with enough power for the riding situation, while saving power when less is needed.
The additional 250 Wh EnergyPak Plus battery increases the range of the e-bike by a significant number of kilometres or vertical metres. It combines all the latest battery technologies with a modern design. If the main battery runs out during a ride, the system automatically switches to the EnergyPak Plus battery. This battery is offered as an option for certain Giant and Liv electric bike models.
The GIANT E-Lock System is a modern electronic security system designed for GIANT electric bicycles that significantly increases protection against theft. The system is fully integrated into the electronics of the e-bike and connected to the RideControl / Giant E-Bike App. When E-Lock is activated, the drive system is electronically locked so that the e-bike cannot be used or ridden without the owner's authorisation. Unlocking is done simply via an app on a smartphone or via a paired display.
ALUXX SL Aluminum is a high-end aluminum alloy developed by GIANT for the production of lightweight and high-strength electric bike frames. It offers lower weight, higher strength and better stiffness, which translates directly into riding performance.
ALUXX SL frames are manufactured using advanced hydroforming, which allows the individual tubes to be precisely shaped according to their load. This makes the frames light where it's possible and strong where it's needed. The result is an optimal balance between strength, comfort and weight. The great advantage of this alloy is also its high resistance to material fatigue and corrosion, which guarantees a long frame life even under intensive use.

The LIV Embolden E+ 0 is the top-of-the-range full-suspension electric trail bike from LIV Cycling (Giant's women's brand). It's designed to help women tackle technical terrain, longer rides and steep climbs with greater confidence thanks to powerful electric assistance. The 2027 delivers modern geometry, a powerful engine and suspension tuned specifically for women.
The lightweight ALUXX SL aluminium frame offers the ideal combination of strength, light weight and playful handling. The new generation FlexPoint Suspension helps keep the rear wheel active even on broken terrain and provides stability on technical descents and steep climbs. The e-bike has 150mm of travel at the front and 140mm at the rear, making it the ideal machine for trail and all-mountain riding.
Power is provided by the SyncDrive Pro 3X motor with 100Nm of torque and peak power of up to 800W. The integrated EnergyPak Smart 800 Wh battery offers plenty of power for long mountain trips and demanding all-day riding.
Premium FOX 36 Rhythm Air and FOX Float X suspension ensures maximum control and comfort on technical terrain. Precision Shimano Deore XT shifting combined with LinkGlide technology is optimized for higher load capacity and long life. Powerful Shimano Deore XT four-piston brakes with 220/203 mm discs provide reliable stopping power even when riding aggressively. Geometry: modern trail - 64.5° slack head angle, balanced reach and low standover for comfort and control for women.
The e-bike is equipped with a modern RideControl Dash 2 color display that shows all important riding information including navigation and battery status. Of course, there's a telescopic saddle, tubeless-ready wheels and quality Maxxis trail tires for maximum traction.

Modern lithium battery for Giant and Liv e-bikes. The EnergyPak Smart 800 offers a higher capacity at almost the same size.
This is the latest generation and highest quality battery technology that is purely integrated into the frame. It features an advanced Battery Management System for continuous communication between the battery and charger to optimize charging performance.
The battery is composed of Panasonic lithium cells specific for electric bicycles - it contains 40 cells of the modern 21700 type. Larger cells bring increased density, lower weight and greater volume - this means the battery heats up less and its lifetime is extended.
