Safety as the foundation

The main advantage of this helmet is the integration of the MIPS® (Multi-directional Impact Protection System). This helps to reduce the rotational forces that arise in oblique impacts and can lead to more serious head injuries.

The design uses proven in-mold technology that combines an outer polycarbonate shell with an EPS liner. This makes the helmet lightweight, yet sufficiently durable. In addition, the extended rear section increases the protection of the back of the head, which you will appreciate especially when riding off-road.

Comfort for everyday riding

Comfort is essential for longer rides. The MET Shelter MIPS is equipped with the Safe-T Sport clamping system, which allows precise adjustment of the head circumference. Thanks to the 360° fit, the helmet fits well and eliminates uncomfortable pressure points.

Adequate ventilation is provided by 12 vents, which help maintain an optimal temperature even on climbs or in warmer weather. The light weight then contributes to the overall wearing comfort.

The Shelter MIPS model is designed with simple functionality in mind. It features an integrated visor that protects against the sun, branches and dirt, as well as practical openings for stowing cycling goggles during a ride.
