A premium trail e-bike for riders who want to combine powerful motor assistance, a large battery capacity, and top-of-the-line components. The carbon frame, Maestro suspension, FOX Factory fork, SRAM XO AXS wireless shifting, and Giant TRX HD carbon wheels come together to create a high-performance package for long mountain rides, technical trails, and challenging descents.
Hybrid Cycling technology combines the natural feel of traditional cycling with intelligent electric assistance. The Hybrid Cycling system uses precise sensors that monitor pedaling force, cadence, and speed. Based on this data, the motor delivers exactly the power the rider needs at any given moment. The result is a natural, smooth, and quiet ride, without jerky reactions or the feeling of the motor “pushing” you. It also contributes to better efficiency and a longer range, as the system uses battery power only when it’s actually needed. This makes the ride not only more comfortable but also more economical.
All SyncDrive motors use Smart Assist technology, which adapts the motor’s assistance to the rider’s needs. It is the only system in the e-bike category that uses both rider data and terrain feedback—drawn from multiple sensors—to determine the ideal level of motor assistance. It delivers a smooth and natural ride with plenty of power for any riding situation, while conserving power when less is needed.
The EnergyPak Plus auxiliary battery extends the range of your e-bike by a significant number of kilometers or meters of elevation gain. It combines all the latest battery technologies with a modern design. If the main battery runs out while riding, the system automatically switches to the EnergyPak Plus battery. This battery is available as an optional accessory for select Giant and Liv e-bike models.
The GIANT E-Lock System is a modern electronic security system designed for GIANT e-bikes that significantly enhances protection against theft. The system is fully integrated into the e-bike’s electronics and connected to the RideControl / Giant E-Bike App. Once the E-Lock is activated, the drive system is electronically locked, so the e-bike cannot be used or ridden away without the owner’s authorization. Unlocking is done simply through the smartphone app or via a paired display.
MAESTRO Suspension
Four strategically placed pivots and two rocker arms work together to create a single virtual (floating) pivot point for the rear triangle. This neutralizes the effect of the rear brake, making the system fully active and highly responsive to all types of terrain, without unwanted bobbing while pedaling. Off-road riding is thus smoother, more comfortable, and more fun; thanks to the rear suspension’s high sensitivity, the bike handles much better and becomes more controllable overall in all conditions.

The GIANT Trance Advanced E+ 0 is a top-of-the-line full-suspension electric mountain bike for riders who want to combine high performance, low weight, and maximum control on technical terrain. The Advanced Composite carbon frame, sophisticated Maestro suspension, and powerful Giant E+ drive system create a perfectly balanced package for demanding trail rides, steep climbs, and fast descents. The combination of a 29" front wheel and a 27.5" rear wheel provides stability when navigating obstacles while maintaining agility on technical sections.
Giant SyncDrive Pro 4 Motor – 120 Nm and up to 850 W of power
Electric assistance is provided by the Giant SyncDrive Pro 4 motor with a voltage of 48 V, torque of 120 Nm, and peak power of up to 850 W. The motor responds quickly, providing assistance from the very first pedal stroke and helping you tackle steep climbs and challenging technical sections. Thanks to the Synchronized Power Matrix system, it evaluates data from multiple sensors and adjusts the assistance based on pedaling force, cadence, and terrain gradient. In addition, the Traction Control feature helps limit rear-wheel slip and maintain traction on loose surfaces.
840 Wh EnergyPak Battery
The integrated Giant EnergyPak 840 Wh battery provides ample power reserves for long rides and challenging mountain trails. The battery is part of a 48V system, and its design combines high capacity with compact dimensions. Intelligent charge management helps ensure reliable operation and a long service life. The bike comes equipped with a Giant Smart Charger X with a 4 A output.
Advanced Composite Carbon Frame and Maestro Suspension
The bike is built around an Advanced Composite carbon frame, designed with an emphasis on low weight, stiffness, and durability during demanding rides. The rear triangle features the Maestro system with 150 mm of travel, which helps maintain traction, responds sensitively to bumps, and reduces unwanted bobbing while pedaling. The geometry can be adjusted to suit your riding style and the terrain using the three-position Flip-Chip system.
FOX 36 Factory front fork with 160 mm of travel
Front-end suspension is handled by a FOX 36 Factory fork with 160 mm of travel and GRIP X damping. It offers a responsive feel over small bumps as well as the necessary support during more aggressive riding and harder impacts. The FOX Float X Factory rear shock with individual adjustments complements the Maestro system and helps maintain stability even when riding fast through rocky and root-laden sections.
SRAM XO AXS Transmission
Precise shifting is ensured by the wireless SRAM XO AXS Transmission system with 12 speeds. The SRAM Eagle Transmission cassette with a 10–52-tooth range offers a wide range of options for steep climbs and fast descents. Praxis Type-2 carbon cranks and a KMC eFlatHT chain round out the drivetrain, designed for the high loads encountered when riding an e-bike.
Powerful TRP EVO Pro Brakes
When riding on challenging terrain, you can rely on the TRP EVO Pro hydraulic four-piston brakes. Combined with 220 mm front and 203 mm rear rotors, they deliver strong stopping power and control during steep descents and repeated braking.
Giant TRX HD Carbon Wheels and Mixed-Size Setup
The bike features the Giant TRX HD carbon WheelSystem with a 30 mm inner rim width and WideGuard construction, which enhances tire protection against impacts. The combination of a 29" front wheel and a 27.5" rear wheel helps blend smooth obstacle clearance with quick responsiveness in corners. The Maxxis Assegai 29 × 2.50" tire on the front provides exceptional traction, while the rear Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5 × 2.40" tire is designed for grip and control during both acceleration and braking. The Giant Aegis Tire Checker system monitors tire pressure and helps maintain optimal settings for current conditions.
Integrated controls and electronic dropper seatpost
The Giant E+ system includes the RideControl Ergo 5 wireless controller and the RideControl GO Lux color display integrated into the top tube. It shows battery status, estimated remaining range, speed, and other ride data. The Giant Contact Switch E+ electronic dropper post allows you to adjust the saddle height on the fly. The Giant Contact SLR Trail integrated carbon cockpit helps maintain a clean handlebar layout and offers the option to adjust the reach based on frame size.
