Hybrid Cycling Technology is a system that combines electric power with human power to create the most efficient, powerful and natural riding experience on an electric bike. It is the seamless extension of the rider's own power that sets Liv and Giant electric bikes apart from other electric bikes. The system consists of four key innovative technologies that work in harmony with the power of your own body - a seamless extension of your own abilities.
FlexPoint suspension is a proven and commonly used single pivot rear suspension with auxiliary oversteer. It is therefore a system that is very simple in principle, yet fully functional. The FlexPoint provides 120 mm of travel and is sensitive to both large and small bumps via the air shock.

MAIN ADVANTAGES
Modern frame with FlexPoint suspension
The new ALUXX SL aluminium frame has a significantly sportier design compared to the previous generation, with the major innovation being a more massive (stiffer) rear structure with a 148x12 mm fixed axle. The FlexPoint suspension provides 125 mm of travel (i.e. 5 mm more) and the front travel has been increased from 130 to 140 mm. Other improvements concern the bowdens and their internal routing - they are now routed under the stem into the head tube.
Strong engine and plenty of power
Yamaha's SyncDrive Sport 2 engine delivers 75 Nm of torque and up to 400% boost in a compact size. The integrated EnergyPak Smart battery, housed in the downtube, offers 625 Wh of capacity (500 Wh on the Stance E+ 2). In addition, the bike frame is ready for the installation of an additional EnergyPak Plus 250 Wh battery (offered as an option).
Control unit with display
Comfortable control of the e-bike is ensured by the RideControl Dash unit, which includes a clear colour display showing all important data. When paired with the RideControl mobile app, notifications from your phone are also displayed, and thanks to ANT+ connectivity, you can also connect various compatible devices and see the readings on the display. There's also a USB-C connector, which will come in handy for charging your phone.
