Hybrid Cycling technology combines the natural feel of traditional cycling with intelligent electrical support. Hybrid Cycling works with precise sensors that monitor pedaling power, cadence and speed. Based on this data, the motor delivers exactly the power the rider needs at any given moment. The result is a natural, smooth and quiet ride, without jerky reactions or a feeling of "engine push". It also contributes to better efficiency and longer range because the system only uses battery power when it is actually needed. This makes driving not only more comfortable, but also more economical.
All SyncDrive engines use Smart Assist technology, which adapts engine assistance to the needs of the driver. It is the only system in the e-bike category that uses both rider data and feedback from the field to determine the ideal level of engine support, using information from multiple sensors. It delivers a smooth and natural ride with enough power for the riding situation, while saving power when less is needed.
The additional 250 Wh EnergyPak Plus battery increases the range of the e-bike by a significant number of kilometres or vertical metres. It combines all the latest battery technologies with a modern design. If the main battery runs out during a ride, the system automatically switches to the EnergyPak Plus battery. This battery is offered as an option for certain Giant and Liv electric bike models.
The GIANT E-Lock System is a modern electronic security system designed for GIANT electric bicycles that significantly increases protection against theft. The system is fully integrated into the electronics of the e-bike and connected to the RideControl / Giant E-Bike App. When E-Lock is activated, the drive system is electronically locked so that the e-bike cannot be used or ridden without the owner's authorisation. Unlocking is done simply via an app on a smartphone or via a paired display.
ALUXX SL Aluminum is a high-end aluminum alloy developed by GIANT for the production of lightweight and high-strength electric bike frames. It offers lower weight, higher strength and better stiffness, which translates directly into riding performance.
ALUXX SL frames are manufactured using advanced hydroforming, which allows the individual tubes to be precisely shaped according to their load. This makes the frames light where it's possible and strong where it's needed. The result is an optimal balance between strength, comfort and weight. The great advantage of this alloy is also its high resistance to material fatigue and corrosion, which guarantees a long frame life even under intensive use.

The new generation of the Stance E+ once again takes handling to the next level with a significant increase in power and torque, revised geometry and improved suspension. The result is a more powerful and extremely dynamic e-bike that tackles challenging climbs with ease, while being surprisingly stable and well-controlled on fast descents and technical passages.
Powerful motor and smooth assistance
The new SyncDrive Pro 3X motor builds on the lightweight 2.6 kg design of the SyncDrive Pro 3 and brings a significant power boost to the new generation of the Stance E+ - in short bursts (for example, when riding up a steep hill), the motor delivers up to 800 watts of power with 100 Nm of torque. The result is an 11% improvement in the torque-to-weight ratio, which not only delivers more power on climbs, but also better handling on technically challenging terrain. The new engine is designed to maintain a high level of assistance over a wide cadence range, giving you sustained support over a longer period of time. Another important innovation relates to the FlexPoint rear suspension, which is designed with an improved anti-squat value - this translates into the bike 'rocking' less when pedalling, so you pedal more efficiently, meaning less energy is lost.
Comfort and handling on the ground
FlexPoint suspension is a proven and widely used single-pivot rear suspension with assisted oversteer. This fundamentally simple and low-maintenance system is sensitive to both large and small bumps via an air shock. While the previous generation Stance E+ provided 125 mm of travel in combination with a 140 mm fork, the new generation offers 140/150 mm of travel, taking the bike's off-road capabilities significantly further. Further improvements in rideability come from revised geometry. A steeper seat tube (76.5° angle) puts the rider in a better position for climbs to make them as efficient as possible. On the other hand, on fast, steep or highly technical descents, you'll appreciate the more laid-back fork (64.5° angle) and the larger drop in the center stack (BB drop), which together lower the bike's center of gravity to make it more stable and controllable.
The RideControl Dash display provides control and visibility with clear information.

Giant's new E+ system makes it easy to tailor the ride to your needs, from adjusting the handlebar to fine-tuning the engine performance. Support modes are clearly colour-coded, and with the RideControl Dash 2 controller you can choose which data you want to see on the display. There's the option to use an optional EnergyPak Plus 200 or 250 Wh battery, which adds a significant amount of miles or vertical metres to your range (the EnergyPak Plus battery is offered as an option). With RideControl, you can adjust power and optimize the balance between torque, efficiency and range, so you'll always be ready for whatever the trail brings.

Battery GIANT EnergyPak Smart 800 Wh
Modern lithium battery for Giant and Liv e-bikes. The EnergyPak Smart 800 offers a higher capacity at almost the same size.
This is the latest generation and highest quality battery technology that is purely integrated into the frame. It features an advanced Battery Management System for continuous communication between the battery and charger to optimize charging performance.
The battery is composed of Panasonic lithium cells specific for electric bicycles - it contains 40 cells of the modern 21700 type. Larger cells bring increased density, lower weight and greater volume - this means the battery heats up less and its lifetime is extended.
