With the new Charger 3.1 RC2 shock, the ZEB fork offers riders exceptional adjustability for the perfect balance between comfort, handling and speed. It features a perfectly stiff 38mm chassis with ButterCups technology to dampen subtle vibrations and a DebonAir+ spring. The technology you need for the fastest times on each section, and the style you want at the start.
The Charger 3.1 shock cartridge is a brilliant evolution of a proven shock platform. With an expanded damping range and settings for high-speed compression (HSC), low-speed compression (LSC) and low-speed rebound (LSR), the Charger 3.1 will smooth out even the roughest trails.
The Charger 3.1 RC2's adjustment range is wider, with less compression damping in the open LSC position and additional support in the closed HSC position - you get the traction, control and comfort you need to tackle challenging trails all day long.
ButterCups block 20% of high frequency "ground noise". Limiting this vibration significantly reduces hand and arm fatigue, allowing you to feel fresher and have more control over your bike.

Other features:
- ButterCups technology: small elastomers in the shock reduce vibration and provide a smoother ride.
- Bleed valves allow the accumulated air pressure in the lower legs to be released, improving performance during long rides or changes in altitude.
- Maxima Plush shock fluid reduces friction and ensures consistent performance in a variety of conditions.
- Torque Cap compatibility increases steering stiffness and accuracy when using Torque Cap compatible hubs.
ButterCups
Two small rubber pucks, coated in gold paint, are located on the right end of the shock and air spring shafts and fit into the fork dip tube. ButterCups dampen high frequency vibrations before they hit your hands and arms. ButterCups are included on all Ultimate models and can be retrofitted to all Pike, Lyrik and ZEB models. For example, in fast sections with roots or small rocks, ButterCups will relieve you of the constant impact to your hands.
DebonAir+
Why change a good thing? To make them unbeatable. DebonAir+ is the result of a constant search for optimal performance. The new DebonAir+ builds on everything you know and love about DebonAir technology - and then some. The goal was to provide a unified riding experience for all three fork platforms, with each matching the volume of air in the positive and negative chambers.
Torque Caps
Rock Shox Torque Caps create a larger contact area between the hub and the suspension fork legs for better torsional stiffness and more control over the bike in rough terrain.
