Maximum comfort and relief is properly determined by the width of the saddle so that the seat bones lie completely on the saddle. This is the only way to provide relief to the sensitive perineal area of men and the pubic arch of women. The perfect grip is due to the elevated rear of the saddle and results in more grip, giving a more efficient transfer of power to the pedals.

The wave-shaped elevation extending from the rear of the saddle is shaped to fit most sit bones. An enlarged, less intermittent bearing surface provides optimal pressure distribution to the sit bones. The reduced saddle nose puts less pressure on sensitive areas for both men and women.

The movement of the pelvis on the saddle with the SQlab Active Comfort System is more similar to walking. From a biomechanical perspective, the bike seat is improved by up to 7° of movement, which increases pedaling efficiency. The intervertebral discs are relieved of pressure while increasing comfort on the sit bones.

The saddle shock absorber is made of BASF Infinergy®, a material that has been proven in running shoes. The flat nose of the saddle, with a slight curvature, provides maximum contact area and is associated with a reduction in pressure. This shape ensures maximum contact area with optimal pressure redistribution. The narrow nose also reduces lateral friction on the thighs when pedalling.
