The heart of this model is the Bafang MaxDrive central motor with nominal power of 250W and maximum torque of 80Nm. The motor is mounted in the frame at an angle of 40 degrees, which achieves better throughput on rugged terrain; the fully integrated battery provides better handling. The battery can hold a charge for up to 175 km. A smart control system prevents the battery from overheating, short circuiting or overcharging. All the information is shown on the multi-function TFT Colour display located on the left handlebar. In addition to the degree of battery assist, the display also shows the speed, distance travelled, time and most importantly, the amount of charge remaining in the battery. The display and the entire electrical system are operated by a separate button control mounted next to the left brake lever. A new feature is the USB port for charging mobile devices.
