The combination of the Sonic's highly developed carbon frame and the ultra-light, powerful and natural Bosch SX drivetrain forms the basis of a superb e-MTB with complete road capability and uncompromising performance. The compact Bosch drivetrain, featuring the lowest possible pedaling resistance, is controlled by a combination of a remote handle on the handlebars and a system controller in the top frame tube.
Together, this creates a top-of-the-line E-MTB that is fully suitable for everyday use with road gear and MonkeyLink lighting.
The E-bike is equipped with a particularly slim and expandable Bosch CompactTube battery with a 400 Wh capacity, which provides ample range.
High-performance Shimano BR-MT420 hydraulic disc brakes are standard, offering strong stopping power and reliability in all weather conditions, a RockShox air-suspension fork, 12-speed Shimano Deore XT gears and a dropper seatpost.
The Sonic EVO SX Dakar is fitted with robust 29" diameter wheels, combined with SCHWALBE G-One Allround tyres designed for excellent traction on unpaved surfaces.

Bosch Top-tube System Controller w/ mini remote
Control unit for e-bikes with intelligent system. The range of functions and information is limited - so you have a quick overview that won't distract you while you ride. Integrated into the top tube - it's hardly noticeable and ideal for sporty trips and design-oriented e-bike fans.
LEDs indicate the riding mode and battery charge level in different colours. Made of durable material and protected from bumps and scratches. With just two buttons you can control the most important functions of your e-bike - switch on, switch off and change the riding mode.
