The SmartphoneGrip installs into the Kiox 300 display holder. If your e-bike is not equipped with one, you need to purchase the following:
1. Holder Arm Socket
2. Display Holder spacer
3. Connection cable between SmartphoneGrip and LED controller. We recommend a length of 250-350mm.
We also recommend purchasing a charging cable to connect the mobile phone and the SmartphoneGrip.
Smartphone as a display for the e-bike. Attach the SmartphoneGrip holder to the handlebars, place the smartphone on it and open the eBike Flow app. While the phone is charging through the holder, the eBike Flow app shows how fast you're going, how charged the battery is and guides you safely to your destination. With the LED Remote, you can control the on-screen display - comfortably with your thumb and with both hands firmly on the handlebars.
Fixed attachment.
On asphalt roads or paved forest and dirt paths, the SmartphoneGrip is firmly attached to the handlebars. The innovative and robust mount is suitable for all current smartphones with or without cover. The surface of the smartphone is protected by a rubberized coating; the charging connector and speaker are freely accessible. Individual positioning. Place the SmartphoneGrip on your handlebars where you can best see the display, or where you think it fits best. Depending on where you want to place it, different display mounts are used.
SmartphoneGrip and eBike Lock.
Activate eBike Lock once via the eBike Flow app and use your smartphone as a digital key. Your eBike will not be attractive to thieves, as the motor support can only be activated with a smartphone and Bluetooth connection.
The SmartphoneGrip holds your smartphone securely on the handlebars while the eBike Flow app provides the information you need. The navigation function guides you reliably and safely to your destination with a clear map display, arrival time and distance information. The screen displays the speed, battery level and range of the e-bike.
The SmartphoneGrip is not suitable for routes with a drop of more than 15 cm or for riding with jumps.
The supported dimensions of the smartphones used, including the camera attachment and cover, are as follows: H: 6.8-13 mm, W: 67-88 mm, D: 123-175 mm. Suitable for smartphones up to a total weight of 276 g including the case. Flip covers and covers in the form of cases are not supported.
SmartphoneGrip and eBike Flow app
The eBike Flow app connects you to your e-bike, and to the digital world. Through the app you can control all the functions of the Smart System, which connects the power unit, battery and control unit. It allows you to customize your e-bike to your exact liking, expand it and keep it up-to-date. The update is conveniently installed via Bluetooth. This keeps the e-bike up-to-date and continuously expands with new features.
Safe driving
You control the eBike Flow app while riding with the LED Remote, which is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth. Using the "right" and "left" buttons, you can easily switch between the Ride screen and navigation without taking your hand off the handlebars. This allows you to ride safely while having full control over the display and your e-bike.
Fully charged smartphone battery
With the SmartphoneGrip, you can charge your smartphone while you ride - either wirelessly or with a cable. Applications with higher power consumption, such as the navigation function of the eBike Flow app, do not drain the smartphone battery.
Quickly change the display
Full modularity and a choice of display views. You can mount your smartphone with the SmartphoneGrip mount or you can mount the Kiox 300 on your handlebars. Kiox 300 is suitable for sports use, your smartphone is the right display for a quieter ride, for example in the city.
Informative charging indicator
On the left side of the SmartphoneGrip holder is an LED that shows by different colours and light indications whether and how the smartphone is charging. For example, if the LED lights up yellow, the smartphone is being charged inductively.
