Intelligent features and riding comfort

The Performance Line within The Smart System brings a number of advanced features that increase safety and comfort:

Auto mode: This mode automatically adjusts the support level according to the current situation, for example during a sudden headwind or a change in terrain slope, without the rider having to manually change modes.
Push assist and Hill Hold: Smart push assist makes it easier to handle the bike in steep sections. The Hill Hold function prevents the bike from rolling backwards unintentionally when starting on a hill.
Shifting flexibility: The motor is compatible with both a classic derailleur and a hub gear. It optionally supports a coaster brake function.
Connectivity with the eBike Flow app: Users can individually customize riding modes, track service intervals, or use digital theft protection (eBike Lock and eBike Alarm).

Compact and sustainable design

The new generation of Performance Line is lighter and slimmer than its predecessors, allowing for more elegant integration into the e-bike frame. Bosch also emphasizes sustainability – the drive unit housing contains up to 40% recycled aluminum, and recycled plastics are used for some internal components.
