The older Classic+ chargers have been discontinued.
The adapter allows the Classic+ batteries to be properly charged with the new chargers:

Standard Bosch charger
Bosch Fast Charger
For Fast Charger chargers, the charging current is limited to 4A to protect older Classic+ batteries.
The length of the adapter cable is 10 cm.
