designed with the speed of professional riders and racers in mind, the all-new Bluegrass Rogue Core Mips are sharp, bold and alternative. It's packed with a host of cutting-edge features and it's everything a rider needs for a fast, no-fuss ride. The Rogue Core Mips exceeds all global certifications thanks to a carefully engineered EPS shell and MIPS-C2® brain protection system, which is mounted inside the helmet and performs best in both linear and rotational impacts.
MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System)technology consists of three main components. The EPS polystyrene shell, the MIPS glide liner and the elastomers that connect the first two parts. In the event of an angled impact, the elastomers will stretch, allowing the helmet shell to move slightly against the MIPS liner, absorbing rotational forces. This is a movement on the order of millimetres. But even these few millimetres, during those critical 2 milliseconds, can significantly reduce the amount of rotational forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
- The openings in the helmet visor are designed to take off the goggles.
- They protect the most vulnerable and sensitive areas of the head, including the temples.
- The EPS polystyrene shell is fully bonded to the molded polycarbonate, contributing to the helmet's longer life.
- Exceptional protection thanks to the aforementioned EPS shell, which achieves outstanding results and which exceeds all global certifications.
- The shield is designed to increase the safety of the helmet itself while protecting from branches. It is flexible to conform to the helmet shell on impact. This unique feature helps control the additional rotational forces transmitted to the neck area during a fall.
- The Safe T Heta clamping system ensures that the helmet stays firmly on the head and is stable, with a great weight to comfort ratio. The clamping control at the back of the helmet allows easy one-handed size adjustment. The 360° headband ensures there are no pressure points on the skull and its easy-to-use vertical adjustment allows for a personalised fit.
- Constant airflow along the head is ensured by an internal air duct system and 16 inlet and outlet vents. Two vents are strategically placed under the visor to prevent fogging of the sunglasses.
- FIDLOCK® MAGNETIC BUCKLE - The straps are built into the EPS shell and thanks to the Fidlock® magnetic buckle, you can quickly buckle the helmet, even with gloves on.
- For compatibility with downhill goggles, an edge has been created on the back to properly hold the downhill goggle strap in place, and the visor is adjustable to leave plenty of room for pulled goggles when exiting or resting.
