Bosch has released a new version of its eBike Flow app – version 1.34, which brings several interesting new features for owners of eBikes with the Bosch Smart System.
Trick Check – trick recognition

The biggest new feature is Trick Check, which automatically detects and records tricks while riding – specifically Jumps, Wheelies, Manuals, and Stoppies. The distance, duration, height, or angle of the performed trick is displayed directly on the screen for eight seconds. Acoustic feedback notifies you of a successful maneuver, and after the ride, you can view your best performances in the app.
The feature is available for Performance Line CX and SX drive units and on Kiox 300, 400C, 500, Purion 200, and 400 displays. It is active automatically on the Kiox 400C and Purion 400; on other displays, it can be turned on in the settings.
Heart rate in statistics

If you use a Bluetooth-connected heart rate monitor, your data is now saved in the app. After each ride, you will see your average heart rate and its progression over time – practical for those who want to train more systematically.
Favorite places as navigation shortcuts

In the "Planning" section, it is newly possible to save up to three favorite places (e.g., home, work, or a favorite route) and use them as quick shortcuts directly from the ride screen or compatible Kiox displays.
eShift with Gearsensor

Support has been added for mechanical derailleurs and hubs equipped with the GS solution from Gearsensor. The motor briefly interrupts assistance when shifting, making shifting smoother and more comfortable. You can find the eShift settings in the app under "My eBike" > "eShift".
Faster unlocking with eBike Lock

Users of the eBike Lock feature who use their phone as a key will welcome a pleasant change – the eBike now unlocks twice as fast as before.
Download the update from the Apple App Store or Google Play. After updating the app, don't forget to also update the eBike itself to take full advantage of all the new features.
