The PowerTube 500 enables trekking and eMountain bikes to just keep going even over long distances. Thanks to its compact size and minimalist design, the battery can be integrated within an eBike to ideal effect. The sophisticated technology of the lithium-ion batteries allows for integration within a frame ensuring a hassle-free riding enjoyment while a safety lock prevents the battery from falling out even on a more challenging terrains and still allowing for battery to be asily detachable.

 

 

 

BENEFITS OF BOSCH RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES 

 

No memory effect

Bosch batteries with lithium-ion cells can be charged quickly at any time, regardless of the charge level. Interruption of charging will not damage the battery. Complete discharge is not necessary.   

 

Extremely low self-discharge 

Even after long storage, eg in a winter, the battery can be used without recharging. This means that Bosch rechargeable batteries do not have to be recharged after a long idle period. For long-term storage, we recommend having a state of charge of 30 to 60%.

 

 

Long life

Bosch batteries are designed for many trips, kilometers and years of use. The Bosch Intelligent Electronic Battery Management System (BMS) protects lithium-ion batteries from extreme temperatures, overcharging and excessive discharge.

 

 

Factors that shorten the service life:

• Hard use
• Storage at a temperature higher than 30 °C
• Long-term storage fully charged or completely discharged
• Parking e-bike in direct sunlight

 

 

Factors that have a positive impact on service life:

• Low usage 
• Storage at a temperature between 0 - 20 °C
• Storage at a state of charge of approx. 30 to 60 % 
• Parking e-bike in the shade or in a cool place
