A supercharged fatbike that will keep you comfortable on the toughest terrain and give you better control of your bike. Power of the e-bike is Shimano's top-of-the-line EP8 centre drive - 21% more power compared to the most powerful Shimano E8000 motor yet. 10% less weight with a total of 2.6kg thanks to the use of magnesium for the motor block. Redesigned bearings and gear connections inside the motor, resulting in 36% less friction and drag when pedalling with the drive off or above the motor assist speed limit. Delivering a pleasant but powerful driving experience, it is capable of reliably handling all your daily activities and offering a very pleasant and smooth ride. 

Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the bike can be connected to the E-TUBE PROJECT app (downloadable for Android, iOS) which allows individual motor settings. Power is provided by the reliable 500 Wh Darfon battery, which is enough for really long trips. Just to the left hand you will find the SHIMANO SC-E5003 control unit, the Clamp band provides a clear display illustrating the various functions of the system. The unit also doubles as a boost switch, allowing the rider to increase or decrease the level of boost with large, easily accessible buttons. Comfort is taken care of by the suspension fork and safe stopping is the job of the powerful hydraulic brakes. In terms of additional comfort, you'll appreciate the Block Lock head compound, which protects against damage to the frame by the handlebars in a fall. Fenders, racks and other bikepacking equipment can be mounted. The ROCK MACHINE Avalanche INT e70-26 can be the right companion for long touring trips.
